Amazing Journeys - Iceland

Iceland Programmes

A country like no other, Iceland has some of the world's finest waterfalls, erupting geysers, stunning fjords, magical lagoons, active volcanoes, majestic glaciers, powerful lava flows as well as tranquil lakes with rare-breeding bird life. The offerings from this beautiful country include:

  • The awe-inspiring Northern Lights (visible from September to April)
  • Þingvellir (designated UNESCO world heritage site) where the continent's first parliament was formed in 930 AD
  • Snæfellsjökull National Park – located at the foot of a volcano and glacier, it is the only park that reaches from the seashore to the mountaintops. The active volcano provided the setting for Jules Vernes' famous Journey to the Center of the Earth.
  • Waterfall of the Gods – Gullfoss and Dettifoss - Europe's most powerful waterfall Hvannadalshnjúkur the highest peak, located in Vatnajökull National Park. No wonder that the popular television series – Game of Thrones was shot in Iceland extensively.
  • The active geothermal area of Geysir, where Strokkur spouts up to 25 meters (70 feet) – every 10 minutes!
  • The ultimate is a soak in the famous Blue Lagoon’s warm geothermal water while you wait to catch a glimpse of the auroras ( dancing lights – also known as Northern Lights) across the sky.

We offer 5 tours ( both summers & winters) for the enthusiast and we promise you will not be disappointed.
